Dr. William Flahive:   Dr. Flahive is a native of the South Portland/Windham area.  He graduated from  Louisiana State University Veterinary School in 2001. After a practical internship in Washington, DC he returned to Maine and practiced in Boothbay Harbor.  He purchased the Cape Veterinary Clinic in April 2007.

Dr. Stefanie Dawn Davis:  Dr. Davis is a  native of Mississippi. She also graduated from Louisiana State University Veterinary School in 2001.  After visiting Dr. Flahive during school she decided to  move to ME.  After initially practicing in Skowhegan, she came to Cape Vet.  Five years later she purchased the clinic in April 2007.

Dr. Tamara Hunzicker:   Dr Hunzicker is a native of Ohio and graduated from The Ohio State University.  After doing a residency at Animal Medical Center in NY City, and Tufts University she eventually came to Maine.  She has been at the Cape Veterinary Clinic since 1998.

Dr. Linda Hornig:  Dr. Hornig is a native of New Hampshire.  After an initial career with the  Fish and Wildlife Dept. in Alaska, she returned to school and graduated from The New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell. Dr Hornig worked at the Cape Veterinary Clinic from 1997-2005 and returned to us in 2009.

     We strive to be professional and courteous but remain relaxed and approachable.  Our staff is there to help educate clients in the best care they can give their pets as well as assist the Veterinarians in performing their various tasks.

     Our friendly and knowledgeable  staff include:

Lauren Rice:  A native of Massachusetts she moved to Maine in 1995 and has been at the Cape Vet Clinic since then and is the fixture at the clinic.  She graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with a BS in Animal Sciences and Zoology.

Jessica Libby:  Jessica is a native of South Portland.  She graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in Behavioral Sciences in 2005 and has been at Cape Vet since.

Tammy Palardis:  Tammy is a Massacusetts native with a BS in Pre Vet.  She has many years experience as a Technician and joined us in May 2010.

Danielle Hussey:  Danielle, a Maine native,  is a new graduate in the Technician field and has joined us out of school in Nov. 2010.

Stacey Woodsome: Stacey is a Maine native.  She has a degree in Marine Biology and worked at Seal Rescue before taking up Veterinary Technician duties.  She has been with us since Dec. 2010.

Lea Croce:  Lea, a native of Massachusetts, is our busy receptionist  coming from the human medical side.  She joined us in Dec. 2010.

Elise Rosa:  Elise, a Maine native, has been working with us part time since March 2010 and is currently starting classes towards her Veterinary Technician degree.
