Hospital Urgent Care provides veterinary services for a variety of conditions, illness, and injuries found in our pet patients. We have trained and dedicated veterinarians and nurses on staff. We have onsite diagnostic equipment to perform blood work, x-rays, ultrasound, and an in-house pharmacy allowing timely results and treatment of our patients. Cases that require 24-hour critical nursing care or more advanced diagnostics and treatments will be first stabilized and then referred to the specialty hospitals if necessary.
If your pet is experiencing an urgent medical issue after hours, please visit the list of nearby emergency hospitals.

Trusted Vets Near Me
Cape Veterinary Clinic has been in South Portland serving the local community since 1958. It was originated by Dr. Ladd Hildebrand, and then purchased in 1972 by Drs. Eric and Carol Robison, who laid the foundation for our community-oriented practice. Dr. Davis began working with the Robisons in 2003, so when they were looking to retire, they didn’t have to look far for someone they trusted to purchase the veterinarian clinic. In 2007 Dr. Davis and Dr. Flahive became the new owners of the Cape Vet Clinic. As you can see, we have lots of experience. Explore our veterinary services today!
